You can also visit a shrine dedicated to the "god of cats" where many people have left beckoning cats. You can also ride the longest cable car ride in western Japan that goes to Tairyuji Temple, one of the sacred sites along the Shikoku Pilgrimage route.

Kito Yuzu Citrus
A large amount of the yuzu citrus fruit is grown in the Kito District of Naka Town where cultivation began 50 years ago. This area boasts the largest production volume in Tokushima Prefecture, and is the top producer in terms of both quantity and quality of shipments. Yuzu used to take 18 years to bear fruit, but thanks to the efforts of the local Kito Fruit Tree Research Association, the trees began to bear fruit in three to five years. Most of the yuzu cultivated in Japan today come from seedlings in this area.
