A long-established weaver since 1897, Nagao Orifu handles the entire process, from dyeing, to weaving, and finally to the finishing touches. In addition to manufacturing fabrics known as "Awa Shijira-ori," which is our primary product line, we also deal in indigo-dyed products. Among them, shijiraori dyed with natural Awa Indigo Dye is called "Awa sho-an shijira-ori," and is designated as a traditional handicraft.
Nagao Orifu's "Awa Shijira-ori" and "Aizome Indigo" products are created by combining the beautiful water and indigo of Tokushima and the skills of our craftsmen.
