This new facility was remodeled from the remains of the closed Shimada Elementary/Preschool, originally completed as the culmination of the work of the modernist architect Tomoya Masuda. The old sports field is now comprised of 11 lots for car camping as well as solo camping lots for those dropping by on their motorcycle or road bike. There is a communal cooking area where guests can cook the fish they caught out on the Uchinomi Sea, as well as a shower facility. In the nearby fallow field, brilliant “Oga Lotus”, also known as Ancient Lotus, bloom from mid-June to early August. The 10 km cycling road around Shimada Island is popular for the beautiful nature that can be enjoyed along the way.

◇ Closed: End of Year Holidays December 28th (Sat.) - January 5th (Sun.)
◇ Hours of Operation: 8:00 – 18:00
◇ Reservations: Reservations from June 1st – March 31st are available.
◇ Lot Fee: 1 Lot 1,000 ~ 6,050 Yen *The fees paid via aiTripper only include the lot fee. It is also necessary to pay a usage fee.
◇ Usage Fee: Adults (12 and Older): 1,100 Yen per Person
Children (11 & Under): 550 Yen per Child
Pets (Limited to Dogs): 550 Yen per Pet
Please pay the appropriate fee based on the number of people/pets when you check-in. Cash or credit cards are accepted.
◇ In the interest of environmental preservation, please make use of the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap that is provided.
