【tonaru SETO】Awa Odori Dance

tonaru SETO: Opened in June 2024! A new tourism hub has been established in Naruto, making use of the former Seto Elementary School/Preschool created by the architect Tomoya Masuda! The gym has been renovated into the Awa Odori Hall, complete with a special circular stage. In addition to an Awa Odori performance, guests can try their hand at raft fishing on the beautiful Uchinomi Sea, relax at the café space, and all-around get their fill of the culture, nature, and cuisine that tonaru has to offer. ～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～ tonaru Awa Odori Enjoy a performance where the audience and dancers become one in a sense of unity only possible through the Awa Odori. In the center of the hall lies a completely original circular stage, and with a curtain suspended from the ceiling wrapping around the audience, a truly unique atmosphere is created. Guests will move from tonaru SETO via ferry to one of the fishing rafts floating on the Uchinomi Sea. An instructor will give tips on fishing, with guests being able to enjoy filleting their catch afterwards. A complete set of fishing tools will be provided. 【French Monster Setouchi Food Art】Set of 3 Specialties

We are French Monster Setouchi Food Art - a confectionery studio located next to the Yomomi Observatory, one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Tokushima. Naruto kintoki sweet potatoes, sudachi, uzushio berries, kigashira yuzu, wasanbon, daiginjo sake lees from the Honke Matsuura Sake Brewery...and many more. We use these delicious products of Tokushima producers and offer them in French pastries. The best part is that our location is perfect, and even our local customers in Tokushima have given their stamp of approval, saying, "The view from here is exceptional". Please follow the Naruto Skyline to the top of Shimada Island from Tokushima's representative tourist spots, such as Naruto's whirlpools and the Otsuka Museum of Art. It is only a 10-15 minute drive. The scenery on the way is spectacular, so please take your time while driving. This time, we have prepared a set of three specialties of our workshop. * Naruto Kintoki Cream Sandwich "To the Moon, to Naruto", winner of the Grand Prize in the Setouchi Souvenir Contest. Naruto Kintoki, a sweet potato from Tokushima, is made into an original cream. It is a French pastry sandwiched between hand-baked sablé. It is made with the feeling of "yearning for France and gratitude to Tokushima" in mind. (Handwritten package by calligrapher Shosen, 2 x 5 bags, regular price 1,944 yen) * Naruto Daini Buttons, a sable made from Daiginjo sake lees, used on JAL domestic flights in first class. A trifecta of sake lees, wasanbon, and Italian cheese Grana Padano, which was given to us by the original Matsuura Sake Brewery. The lingering taste is an adult sable. "A salted sweet that goes well with champagne." (20 pieces in a special box with button, regular price 1,404 yen) * "Amour de Monstar Naruto New Moon" scrub salt with the scent of the new moon. Aroma massage salt developed by French Monster. It is also used at the esthetic salon of the Ridge, a top-class resort hotel in Naruto. The Naruto whirlpools are larger at the time of the new moon and full moon. The sea salt and wakame seaweed ingredients from Naruto will make your skin glowing, and the citrus-based "new moon scent," made with five kinds of essential oils, will heal your skin. Sea Kayaking in Naruto! [2 Hour Course - Beginners Welcome]

This is a half-day plan that can be enjoyed by first-time kayakers. First, you will practice how to operate a kayak and then paddle out to the sea. An experienced guide will be there to assist you. The kayaks are highly stable, so you can enjoy kayaking even on rough seas. We will take you to the best locations among the Konaruto Strait, the Naruto Strait, or the Horikoshi Strait depending on the weather and sea conditions. At the Konaruto Strait, you will slowly move through the channel and circle around Takashima Island. At the Naruto Strait, you can feel the strong currents of the whirlpools!
