This 2 day 1 night model course centers around Tokushima City's famous Awa Odori dance festival. This tour includes a hotel in Tokushima City during a time when it can be difficult to secure a room, and it not only provides participants with the chance to learn how to dance Awa Odori directly from a famous dance group, but give them a chance to join in on the fun and dance on the actual stage!
In addition, participants will be able to explore the other unique cultural elements that Tokushima has to offer, along with its delectable cuisine.

Depart from Hotel & Watch an Awa Ningyo Joruri Puppet Theater Performance
Awa Ningyo Joruri is a traditional form of puppet theater that sees each puppet being operated by 3 puppeteers. The performance is accompanied by a "joruri" narrative and shamisen (three-stringed instrument) player. The entire group must be in harmony to give a good performance!
Performances are held daily in Tokushima at the historical Awa Jurobe Yashiki.

Tokushima Lunch
Tokushima offers a variety of options when it comes to food. You can enjoy a meal of incredibly fresh seafood, local ramen, extravagant dishes made with local ingredients, etc. The yusanbako lunch box is also a uniquely Tokushima dish, featuring three tiers of delicious treats packed into a stylish box.

Awa Odori Time!
It's time for the main event! Participants will get changed and then receive a dance lesson directly from a famous Awa Odori group. After enjoying dinner, they will head out to an actual Awa Odori stage and dance together with the group. Afterwards, everyone can enjoy watching the other groups dance on the stage.

Tokushima is famous for “aizome” indigo dyeing, a tradition that once brought wealth and culture to the area.
At the Ai no Yakata, participants can learn about the history of aizome as well as dye their own unique handkerchief.!

Ride a Boat to see the Naruto Whirlpools up Close!
The magnificent Naruto Whirlpools can reach a diameter of up to 20 m, and a sightseeing boat is available to take visitors right up close to them!
Afterwards, the group can easily return to the Kansai Airport
